The Sanford High School Theater Company is bringing Disney’s smash-hit Broadway musical Newsies to life on stage this spring. Inspired by the true story of the 1899 Newsboys Strike, Newsies is a rousing tale of courage, friendship, and fighting for what is right, set to an unforgettable Tony Award-winning score by Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin).

Packed with high-energy dance numbers, soaring vocals, and show-stopping moments, this production will have you cheering for the underdogs as they take on the most powerful publishers in New York.
